Blender’s Choice is a blend of whiskeys of different vintages, including whiskeys that have been matured for more than 30 years, with the average whiskey being about 15 years old. This time, Suntory also selected various whiskeys that were matured in wine barrels for blending, hoping to make Blender’s Choice show a round, balanced, yet layered taste. This bottle of Blender’s Choice is considered by many to be the first choice of Hibiki after it ceased production in 17 years. I believe that the new bottle will also enable the public to appreciate the beauty of blended whiskey. Suntory carefully selects barrels and takes pride in its brewing process to create exquisite blended whiskey. Hibiki Blender Choice uses wine barrels to bring a rich, sweet taste and gorgeous, soft aroma.

Color: light reddish amber

Aroma: Wild berries, white peach, pineapple, crème brûlée

Taste: Sweet, pleasant acidity

Finish: Mildly sweet with a hint of bitterness
